Limited Permission Bilumi is open source. The software and systems used by this project can be reused freely as long as modifications that are made are in turn freely and actively available and attributed properly. Our software is distributed exclusively under the GNU Affero General Public License. http://www.affero.org/oagpl.html Bilumi is open content. The user content presented on bilumi.org is freely available as long as its use is in turn freely available and is attributed properly. All content that our users add to our site is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ Users that use either Quickrate or other applications of our software that ask for their opinion of content that is scraped from the internet at large or from specific urls choosing to add that content to our site and have checked the original source to be sure that doing so does not violate the license of that content. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, cancel orders and take all other necessary action if we believe that your conduct violates the Terms. Further you agree to license bilumi with unlimited, unrestricted use of your intellectual property without any implied or stated renumeration and that your property can be used, displayed, or deleted in any way we see fit. * You agree not to use bilumi.org to do any the following: o Post or otherwise make available any illegal, offensive, objectionable, libelous, racially offensive, abusive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate information or content on bilumi.org, including, but not limited to, remarks relating to gender, race, religion, nationality, sexual preference, age, disability etc. o Impersonate any person, including bilumi.org registered users, officers, employees, partners, advertisers, corporations and their employees, or any other party. o Collect, maintain, or store personal information regarding any of our users. o Make false, insincere, or biased posts or make posts under a false name. o Falsify or fail to provide accurate and usable citations for any sources or references that you make to posts within our system or to publications, communications, records, artwork, or documents outside of our system. o Misrepresent another user's actions as a violation of this agreement for spurious, meaningless, or trivial purposes. o Post, approve through Quickrate or any other application, or otherwise make available any material or content that violates a copyright, patent, trademark, or other rights. o Post, approve through Quickrate or any other application, or otherwise make available content containing personal information (names, phone numbers, mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, website URL’s, etc.) that is not directly related to the professional operation of any company, product, or organization that is being reviewed. o Post, approve through Quickrate or any other application, or otherwise make available any advertising, promotional materials, “spam”, off-topic postings, “junk mail,” or other materials without the advanced expressed written consent of bilumi. o Post, approve through Quickrate or any other application, or otherwise make available content other than standard English text, such as graphics, photos, audio, HTML, Javascript, etc. is not permitted and may be removed. Content submitted with files containing viruses, corrupted files or any other materials intended to damage or intercept data from another computer is illegal and will be disallowed. Content submitted in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS may be removed. o Post, approve through Quickrate or any other application, or otherwise make available any viruses, spyware, or other computer code, malicious or otherwise that is intended to harm, disable, destroy, or otherwise limit the use and functionality of any hardware or software. o To in anyway disrupt our service, servers, network, or other software and hardware related to bilumi.org. o Violate any local, state, federal, or international law or regulation. Violation of any of these standards may be dealt with through a process of investigation by our staff, Board of Directors, and other users. You agree that your actions may be subject to review and censure either by representatives of bilumi or by other users of bilumi.org. You further agree that any loss of status or damage to your username's reputation by the action of other users or representatives of bilumi is your sole responsibility and not in any way the fault of bilumi. You understand and agree that we may access or disclose your personal information with others if we believe it is necessary to comply with a court order, the legal process, to defend our rights, or to defend ourselves in any litigation, to protect the safety and/or rights of the general public, or to respond to a service related request by you. You understand and agree that we may access or disclose anonymous summary records including your user history, portfolio, impact, status, poll information, and your publicly available profile information in order to further the mission of bilumi. Such uses may include examining, publishing, and commercially providing market trends and user interest studies. You understand that your public information is viewable and usable by the public on the internet and through applications that use bilumi's API. Your hidden (non-public) user information can only be available to other applications if you log onto those applications using the password that you have chosen at bilumi.org. It is your responsibility to read and approve of any terms of service associated with any other application that uses such information. Right to Delete or Modify Posts We reserve the right to delete or modify any review, rating, list or other posting that we determine to violate any of our Terms or general standards of good taste at any time and at our sole discretion. Our link to a website should not in any way be interpreted as an endorsement by bilumi. We also make no warrantee as to the “safety” of these or other websites as it pertains to viruses, spyware, or any other malicious programs. You agree that bilumi will not be liable or responsible, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage that is caused or potentially caused by any link, advertisement, or third-party website. Please send us a hand typed email to legal@bilumi.org with your full name, address, and complete contact information, a description of the material in question, it’s location on bilumi.org or another location, and a statement by you, under penalty of perjury, that information in your email is accurate, and that you are the owner of the copyright or are the injured party or have authorization to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or injured party.
